Zagat’s 2014 Paris Restaurants Guide Has Arrived!

Today marks the release of Zagat’s 2014 Paris Restaurants guide covering 822 restaurants as voted on by 9,692 avid local diners who shared their experiences with us. The updated guide reflects significant changes to the dining scene since our last survey, and includes approximately 115 new additions. In addition to exciting new arrivals such as La Dame de Pic, Le Sergent Recruteur and Miss Ko, the guide includes a series of new lists to help you find the city’s most exceptional places in a variety of categories:

According to a recent survey of Parisian diners conducted on the Zagat blog, respondents report eating out 3.1 times per week on average. When it comes to their favorite cuisine, not surprisingly, French is No.1 (62%), followed distantly by Italian (9%), Japanese (8%), and Thai (8%), among others. While 72% of diners still make restaurant reservations by phone, only 10% do so online, 1% do so in person, and 17% do not make reservations at all. When asked whether they would like to see more restaurants sign up for internet-based reservation services, 46% said “yes.”
